The Philosophy Of Our Dental Practice

  1. The quality of your care is the primary concern of our dental practice. It is our obligation to deliver the best quality dental care, competently and timely, within the bounds of the clinical circumstances by the patient. You will find that we work to involve all of our patients in an active program to prevent dental disease. Whether it is a complete dental make over or a simple whitening, we enjoy working to create those bright desirable smiles! We want to be the best dental office you've ever had!
  2. Dr. Conway and we, the staff, agree to conduct ourselves in a professional manner at all times. This means we focus on listening, problem solving, and making sure our patients are comfortable and relaxed. We concentrate on making you look younger, with a whiter smile, while causing you to generally feel better about yourself and our practice. It is the policy of this practice to retain the services of all of our highly experienced staff. The staff here at Dr. Conway's office works hard to put a WOW on your face. When you leave here, we want to see your smile shine through.
  3. We combine High Technology solutions with a Soft Touch. Dr. Conway believes in utilizing the latest technology to provide his patients with the best in comprehensive, preventive dental care. Here are some the latest developments in dentistry that you will find in our office:        
  • Diagnodent - the newest technology in Cavity Detection using a high-powered Infra-Red Laser.
  • Laser Dentistry - high-powered lasers that can make patient visits more comfortable than traditional surgery. Inquire about Laser Bleaching, Plastic surgery, and cavity detection. Please ask what a laser is and what it can do for excellent patient care.
  • Sterilization - high speed compression of all instruments to kill all bacteria and germs
  • Digital Radiography - We just upgraded to new software and microchip sensors with another great reduction again cutting the radiation in half from the already reduced amount from when we changed from regular dental x-ray film to digital computer technology.  Originally we had a reduction in up to 90% radiation with new digital microchips
  • Computers - CAD CAM design programs, milling units, with over ten major programs to effectively manage patient information. The latest Hippa and security for privacy. Electronic Correspondence for Doctor to Doctor electronic consultation, email, e-claims, Trojan insurance Data Base, and more. Dr. Conway lectures and is active in the community of other dentists learning new technologies, including Cerec.
  • Cerec - one step computerization technique for fabricating not only Crowns, but partial crowns, and fillings, all with the Infra red camera, meaning there is no impression to gag you. And we cement your restoration in the same appointment with decreased discomfort, stress and time using the strongest materials in the world!!!  You have to read about it to believe it.   • Digital Photography - a multitude of digital cameras for records keeping, insurance billing, intra and extra oral shots.
  • Online Account Information - you can view your account on line, check to make sure your insurance company has paid their insurance portion, and always keep informed on your account information.

   

Plans for future growth, in knowledge and location:

Dr. Conway is in the process of opening a new office in Dublin. Our philosophy has become "Make the patient feel like they are anywhere BUT the dental office."  This may sound like an exercise in futility, and we realize, of course, that everyone does not have this aversion, but why not treat everyone as if they do? We want you to enjoy your visit with us, so we have provided many diversions to make that a reality. To that end, we practice what we like to call "Spa Dentistry". Here are some of the distractions you will find in Spa Dentistry:

  
  • Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) and Sleep Dentistry available to fit your needs.
  • Portable Monitors or video equipment in every room can "take you away" if you choose.
  • Relaxation Booths, to isolate you from the office, recline, relax, watch peaceful scenes on monitors or special video glasses, have a massage by staff and or the reclining chair and listen to the calming sounds of your choice with ipod technology ( over 1,000 Cd's worth of music)
  • High Tech Massage Chairs to relax your back, arms, legs with robotic rollers and kneaders.
  • Dental Chairs with more comfort and vibration for relaxation
  • Tablet Pc for Internet access, email and surfing the Internet as you relax to our massaging or pulsating dental chairs.  All available upon request.
  • For your listening pleasure, we have several options. Headphones may be used, or you could choose the ambient atmosphere in the entire room by making your music selection. You may choose from our large collection of Cd's or any group of songs you wish to hear. I-Pod, Macintosh collection of over 1,000 CD of music to relax and entertain you. 
  • Massage Mats remotely controlled by you to set kneading pattern, heat intensity, and vibration.
  • Pleasant Scents waft through our spa from carefully placed candles and customized aromatherapy oils.

     We believe in making every patient feel relaxed and enjoy their dental experience as much as possible.  We will combine relaxation, some massage, aromatherapy and special techniques, and calm all 6 of your senses during your dental experience. 
    • These are just some of the things we do to relax and make your visit comfortable and safe. We focus on all you senses!
      • One: sense of sight: provide you with tinted glasses, Audio visual monitor to have you watch and relax.  
      • Two: sense of hearing: Stereo music to calm you. 
      • Three: sense of touch: place warm or cool towelettes around you face and neck, support you head or lower back with soft foam for support and comfort (orthopedic foam), place warm blankets, massage of shoulder, hands forearms and face and neck. 
      • Four:  sense of smell: aroma therapy and products that have pleasant smells.
      • Five: sense of taste: we strive to use produced that have a reasonable taste, we finish your visit with a rinse with flavored products or anti-bacterial rinses.
      • Six: the inner sense.
