We monitor the insurance payment process with your insurance provider to maximize your insurance benefits. We utilize Trojan's dental insurance database to provide each patient with standardized insurance coverage benefits. Trojan will provide our patient's dental benefit information in a concise, easy to read format on our computer. Our service includes unlimited access to assistance with benefit requests and insurance issues. The Trojan report allows us to explain a summary of your insurance plan. This
is helpful for patients to review when reviewing planned dental
treatment. Trojan's printed condensed information sheet is
available upon request. If you have any question about your plan,
"how much they pay ?", your coverage, insurance terminology, or
why your allowed coverage does not always cover your dentist's fees, you can use the following link to help. How Insurance works? .
Dental insurance is a contract between you, your employer and an
insurance company. The dentist is only here to assist the patient in
obtaining your available benefits. We realize that insurances are
limited, but we want to help you obtain every avenue of payment so we
can provide you with quality dentistry. We recognize that every
little bit helps therefore we accept assignment of benefits (payment from insurance companies)
because we understand that any payment toward your dental procedures
are helpful. Ultimately, you are responsible to the dental office
for any fees not paid by your insurance. Please feel free to discuss
your concerns with our office staff to avoid misunderstandings.
Residual balances and payments: When we bill an insurance
company for your dental work the estimate can be off from our
estimate. The insurance company will send you a notice of the
payment, and later sent the payment to our office. Since the
payment is less than expected from your insurance company, your account
will reflect a residual balance due. We appreciate you paying this within 10-14 days from the date we bill you for the residual
balance or if we can have your credit card on file we will clear the
minimal balance from your account. We will always notify you by
phone when doing so. This is another way to make you treatment
flow easier without hassle. Care credit is also another way to
handle small residual balances.
We keep costs and fees from rising by keeping expenses and
employee time contained. We desire to spend staff time on
dentistry, not billing and insurance issues. Help us help
you. Dr. Conway
